34 regular meeting, august 26, 1974, page :f;i:ve Mayor Craddock stated that the following had been nominated for appointment to the Airpprt Committee: Mr. Ross King, Mr. George Gilbert, Mr, Allen Gill, Mr. Emmett McCoy, and Mr. John Stokes. Mr, Sutton questioned guidelines for the committee and an advisory committee. Mayor Craddock explained the function of a Board to facilitate the City. The City Manager suggested an advisory com- mittee to work with the City on airport functions, Dr. Craddock moved to table the appointments to the Airport Committee until more guidelines could be set up for the committee. Mr. Flores seconded the motion which passed unanimously. I Mr. Sutton asked about the Realtor's Association and Subdivision Committee. Mayor Craddock stated that Mr, B.B', Davidson will chair the Subdivision Committee on August 27th. Mr. Dibrell reported on the County Commissioner's meeting regarding the City's request for $25,000 for a rural truck. Three voted for and one abstained on granting this request to the City, Mr. Tom Akins spoke of the Tree Ordinance Public Hearing and stated that it would be called again. Mrs. Ada Burke spoke on the value of having a Tree Ordinance. Mrs. Florene Oatman also spoke in favor of the Ordinance.
