Mr. Hansen moved to amend the application to provide for drainage improvements in connection with the C-9 project. Mr. Sutton seconded the motion. On roll call, the following vote was recorded: AYE: Sutton, Breihan, Craddock, Hansen NAY: Arredondo. Mayor Craddock moved to amend the application by including a provlslon for the purchase of Urban Renewal tract numbers 8-1 and 11-1 in priority item number c-8. I Mr. Hansen seconded the motion. Mr. Breihan objected to the project...being given such a high priority when he felt there were other greater priorities. On roll call, the motion to amend the application passed unanimously. The motion to approve the application arid authorize its submission passed urianimously. The Mayor read the caption of a Resolution as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY FOR INCLUSION IN THE APPLICATION FOR HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT FUNDS, ACTION YEAR TWO. Mr. Sutton moved approval of the Resolution. Mr. Arredondo seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock issued the Order for Regular City Officers' Election to be held April 3, 1916, designating election officials and polling places. The Mayor read the caption of a Resolution as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ESTABLISHING PROCEDURE FOR THE REGULAR CITY OFFICERS'ELECTION TO BE HELD ON THE 3RD DAY OF APRIL, 1916. Mr. Hansen moved approval of the Resolution. Mr. Sutton seconded the motion, I whibh passed unanimously. The Mayor read the caption of a Resolution as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A JOINT ELECTION AGREEMENT BETWEEN SAN MARCOS CONSOLIDATED INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT AND THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS PROVIDING FOR THE JOINT ADMINISTRATION OF THE APRIL 3, 1916, ELECTION OF SCHOOL AND MUNICIPAL OFFICERS AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE SAME ON BEHALF OF SAID CITY. Mr. Hansen moved approval of the Resolution. Mr. Sutton seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Bob Derrick, representing Forest and Cotten, Callie before the Council with preliminary plans for the Wallace Addition improvements, Community Development Action Year One. Mr. Arredondo requested plans for sidewalk construction along Staples Road be included as an alternate bid in the project. The Mayor read an Ordinance in its entirety, the caption of which is as follows: AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE PRICE AND CONDITIONS OF THE SALE BY THE URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, OF PARCEL NO. 15D-14 (SEE LEGAL READING), LOCATED WITHIN THE JUAN VERAMENDI PROJECT, N.D.P., TEX. A-6 TO CAMILlA E. SALAS, FEME SOLE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. I Mr. Arredondo moved adoption of the Ordinance. Mr. Hansen seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
