Mr. Hansen <br />moved to amend the application to provide for drainage improvements in connection <br />with the C-9 project. Mr. Sutton seconded the motion. On roll call, the following <br />vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Sutton, Breihan, Craddock, Hansen <br />NAY: Arredondo. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock moved to amend the application by including a provlslon for the <br />purchase of Urban Renewal tract numbers 8-1 and 11-1 in priority item number c-8. I <br />Mr. Hansen seconded the motion. Mr. Breihan objected to the project...being given <br />such a high priority when he felt there were other greater priorities. On roll <br />call, the motion to amend the application passed unanimously. The motion to <br />approve the application arid authorize its submission passed urianimously. <br /> <br />The Mayor read the caption of a Resolution as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS <br />NECESSARY FOR INCLUSION IN THE APPLICATION FOR HOUSING AND COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT ACT FUNDS, ACTION YEAR TWO. <br /> <br />Mr. Sutton moved approval of the Resolution. Mr. Arredondo seconded the motion, <br />which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock issued the Order for Regular City Officers' Election to be <br />held April 3, 1916, designating election officials and polling places. <br /> <br />The Mayor read the caption of a Resolution as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />ESTABLISHING PROCEDURE FOR THE REGULAR CITY OFFICERS'ELECTION TO <br />BE HELD ON THE 3RD DAY OF APRIL, 1916. <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen moved approval of the Resolution. Mr. Sutton seconded the motion, I <br />whibh passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The Mayor read the caption of a Resolution as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />APPROVING A JOINT ELECTION AGREEMENT BETWEEN SAN MARCOS CONSOLIDATED <br />INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT AND THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS PROVIDING FOR <br />THE JOINT ADMINISTRATION OF THE APRIL 3, 1916, ELECTION OF SCHOOL <br />AND MUNICIPAL OFFICERS AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE SAME <br />ON BEHALF OF SAID CITY. <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen moved approval of the Resolution. Mr. Sutton seconded the motion, <br />which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Bob Derrick, representing Forest and Cotten, Callie before the Council with <br />preliminary plans for the Wallace Addition improvements, Community Development <br />Action Year One. Mr. Arredondo requested plans for sidewalk construction <br />along Staples Road be included as an alternate bid in the project. <br /> <br />The Mayor read an Ordinance in its entirety, the caption of which is as <br />follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE PRICE AND CONDITIONS OF THE SALE BY <br />THE URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, OF <br />PARCEL NO. 15D-14 (SEE LEGAL READING), LOCATED WITHIN THE JUAN <br />VERAMENDI PROJECT, N.D.P., TEX. A-6 TO CAMILlA E. SALAS, FEME <br />SOLE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Arredondo moved adoption of the Ordinance. Mr. Hansen seconded the motion, <br />which passed unanimously. <br />
