<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />l_ __ _ _ <br /> <br />~Il <br /> <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS <br />COUNTY OF HAYS <br />CITY OF SAN ~ffiRCOS <br /> <br />We, the undersigned officers of the City of San Marcos, Texas, <br />DO HEREBY CERTIFY: <br /> <br />That said City, through its City Council, has audited and <br />allowed claims in the total amount of $26,661.07 incurred in the <br />purchase of automotive equipment and street machinery for said <br />City. <br />That said claims are held and owned by the First National <br />Bank, San Marcos, Texas; that to evidence said indebtedness of <br />said City, as shown by said claims, there have been issued and <br />delivered to said First, National Bank, CITY OF SAN MARCOS AUTO- <br />l'iOTIVE EQUIPilJENT AND STREET MACHINERY WARRANTS, dated August 1, <br />1954, Nos. 10 to 35, inclusive, in the denomination of $1,000 <br />each, aggregating $26,bOO.00 (being part of a total authorized <br />issue of $35,000.00), bearing3-l/2"p interest per annum, and <br />maturing on August 1st, $1,000 in 1966 and $5,000 in each of the <br />years 1967 to 1971, inclUSive; ,and 'that the excess of $661.07, <br />as shown by said claims, has been paid in cash by the City of San <br />Marcos. <br />That the City of San Marcos has received full value and con- <br />sideration for said Warrants Nos. 10 to 35, inclusive. <br />That there is no litigation pending or threatened growing <br />out of the issuance of said warrants nor in any way affecting <br />the titles of the within named officers of said City to their <br />respective offices. <br /> <br />WITNESS OUR R~NDS and the seal of said City this <br />day of August, 1954. <br /> <br />~fL <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br />
