<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />l <br /> <br />Said Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per motor bus placed in operation <br />during the first year of operation of such business shall be due and <br />payable as follows: (a) Upon acceptance of this franchise by the <br />grantee, he shall immediately pay $50.00 for each motor bus he pro- <br />poses to put into immediate operation. (b) If said grantee, his <br />heirs and assigns, place any other motor busses into operation during <br />the first y~ar of the operation of business, he, his heirs and assigns, <br />shall immediately pay an additional $50.00 for each add,itional motor <br />bus put into operation. No part of any $50.00 so paid, during the <br />first year of operation of such business shall, in any event, be re- <br />funded to the grantee, his heirs and assigns. <br />Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per motor bus placed in operation during <br />the second or any subsequent year of operation of such business shall <br />be due and payable as follows: (a) Upon the beginning of the second <br />or any subsequent year of operation of such business, the grantee, <br />his heirs and assigns, shall immediately pay $50.00 for each motor <br />bus; he (or they) propose to put into irrunediate operation. (b) If <br />said grantee, his heirs and assigns, place any other motor busses <br />into operation during the second or any subsequent year of operation, <br />he (or they) shall irrunediately pay an additional $50.00 for each <br />additional motor bus put into operation. No part of any $50.00 so <br />paid during the second or any subsequent year of operation of such <br />business shall, in any event, be refunded to the grantee, his heirs <br />and assigns. However, each $50.00 paid for the operation of a motor <br />bus under tbis franchise-ordinance, at the beginning or during the <br />second or any subsequent year of operation of sucb business, shall <br />be credited in favor of tbe grantee, bis heirs and assigns, against <br />the sum equal to two (2) per cent of the gross receipts of sucb <br />business, and shall be deducted from said sum, in determining the <br />final<< amount due the City of San Marcos, if said sum is greater <br />than $50.00 per motor bus actually placed in operation. Said annual <br />bonus of two (2) per cent of the gross receipts of such business <br />during the second or any subsequent year of operation, less $50.00 <br />per motor bus actually placed in operation during the second or any <br />subsequent year, sball be due and payable within thirty (30) days <br />following the end of said second or any subsequent year of operation. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />
