Upon acceptance of this franchise-ordinance, as <br />above provided, grantee, his heirs and assigns, shall be required <br />to file with the City Council, or its duly appointed agent, and <br />thereafter keep in full force and effect a policy of public liability <br />insurance executed by an insurance company duly authorized to do <br />business in the state of Texas, and performable in Hays County, Texas, <br />insuring the public, including grantee's passengers, against any <br />loss or damage that my result to any person or property from the oper- <br />ation of such motor busses, provided the maximum amount of recovery <br />in such po licy of insurance specified sha 11 not be less than the <br />following sums, i.e.: <br />(a) For the injury to anyone person or the death of anyone <br />person in anyone accident, $5,000.00. <br />(b) For the injury to two or more persons or the death of two <br />or more persons in anyone accident. $20,000.00. <br />(c) For the injury or destruction of property in anyone acci- <br />dent, $5,000.00. <br />PrOVided, however, that such grantee may, in lieu of the afore- <br />said policy of liability insurance, file with the City Council, or <br />its duly appointed agent, a surety bond performable in Hays County, <br />Texas, payable to the Mayor of San l~rcos, Texas, and his successors <br />in office, executed by a responsible and solvent corporation author- <br />ized to conduct a bonding business under the laws of the state of <br />Texas, Which bond shall be conditioned for the payment of all final <br />judgments which may be rendered against said grantee, his heirs and <br />assigns, for damages on account of death or injury to property or <br />person, inclUding both passengers and the public, occasioned by the <br />operation of any such motor bus. Said bond of indemnity shall pro- <br />vide that the amount of recovery on each motor bus named in said <br />bond shall not be less than the following sums, i.e.: <br />(a) For the injury to anyone person or the death of anyone <br />person in anyone accident, $5,000.00. <br />(b) For the injury to two or more persons or the death of two <br />or more persons in any one accident, $20,000.00. <br />(c) For the injury or destruction of property in anyone acci- <br />dent, $5,000.00 <br /> <br />J <br /> <br />, <br />
