<br />I <br /> <br />SECTION 3. Tlle rules and regulations governing the $anitation <br />of slaughter houses and establishments where meat food products <br />are slaughtered, sold, stored, or processed and manufactured, are <br />hereby adopted, attached hereto and shall be known as the City of <br />San Marcos Meat Inspection Regulations. <br />SECTION l~. It shall be unlawful and a violation of this or~ <br />dinance for any person, firm or corporation, officer or agent or <br />employee thereof to forge, counterfeit, simulate or falsely repre- <br />sent or without proper authority to use or detach, or knowingly or <br />wrongfully alter, deface or destroy any of the stamps or marks or <br />brands or tags recognized by the Chief Meat Inspector of the City <br />of San Marcos, on any cattle, calf, sheep, swine, or goat or any <br />carcass or any part of any carcass or carcasses of any animal named <br />in Section 1 and 2 of this ordinance. This section shall not apply <br />to butchers cutting up carcasses for purpose of sale. <br />SECTION 5. That no person, firm or corporation shall manufac- <br />ture or process any meat product or meat food product, or have in <br />possession, for sale, any meat product or meat food product until <br />such person, firm, or corporation has applied for a Permit to do <br />business as herein prescribed as required for offic~al es;tablish- <br />ments. <br />SECTION 6. The following f~es shall be charged for inspection <br />and shall be collected by the City Secr~tary of the City of San <br />Marcos each calondnr Month after invoices for such fees have been <br />prepared by the Health Department of the City of San Marcos, whiCh <br />~epartment shall send a copy of each invoice to the permit holder <br />and the City Secretary of the City of San Marcos. The remittance <br />for the amount due for such fees shall be rr~de by the permit holder <br />to the City Secretary of the City vf San Marcos within ten (10) days <br />from the date of the invoice. <br />(a) All persons, firms or corporations operating slaughter <br />houses or carrying on a meat slaughtering, packing or processing <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />2. <br />
