<br />shall constitute a separate offense. <br /> <br />SECTION 13. Ordinance Repealed. All ordinances and parts <br /> <br />of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed, <br /> <br />however, this section is not to effect or repeal in any manner the <br /> <br />San Marcos Building Code. <br />SECTION 14. If any section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, <br />phrase or provision of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or' <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />held unconstitutional, the same shall not affect the validity of <br /> <br />this ordinance as a whole or any part or provision thereof ~ther <br />than the part so decided to be invalid or unconstitutional. <br /> <br />SECTION 15. This ordinance shall take effect from and after <br /> <br />its passage and publication as required by law. <br /> <br />SAN MARGOS~INSPECTION REGULATIONS <br /> <br />Re~ulation 1. Definitions <br />For the purpose of these r~gulations the following words, <br /> <br />phrases, names and terms shall be construed, respectively, to mean~ <br />1. Inspectors. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />a. Chief Meat Inspector ~ The holder of a Degree of <br />Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from a recognized <br />college of Veterinary Medicine and licensed to <br />practice in the State of Texas. <br /> <br />b. Meat Inspector - A graduate of a recognized college <br />of Veterinary Medicine and licensed to practice in <br />the State of Texas. <br /> <br />c. Assistant Meat Inspector ~ A layman with a High <br />School education; with at least 2 years experience' <br />in meat industry, or equivalent in allied subjects, <br />who assists veterinary meat "inspectors in ante mortem <br />and post mortem inspections. <br /> <br />2. San Marcos Inspected and Passed - That the carcasses, parts, <br /> <br />of carcasses, meat, meat products, or meat food products so marked <br /> <br />have been inspected and passed under these regulations, and were <br /> <br />found to be sound, healthful, wholesome, and fit for human food. <br />, " <br /> <br />The term "Mark", "Stamp", or "Brand" shall mean the San Marcos In- <br />spected and "Passed" mark. stamp or brandt <br />.3. "Passed for sterilization", or "Passed for cooking", or <br />"Passed after cooking" - That the carcasses, parts of carcasses, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />meat, meat products~ or meat food products so marked have been in- <br /> <br />spected and passed on condition that they be rendered into lard or <br />tallow or otherwise cooked by methods approved by the Chief Meat <br /> <br />Inspec~or. <br />4.
