Frank Dietterich, L,ayor <br />City Hall <br />San kriarcos, Texas <br />Re: Valuation for Taxation <br />Dear Sir: <br />'t7e are herewith, submitting our valuation proposal for one set of <br />records covering the area within the city limits of San Marcos, Texas, <br />as discussed in the conference held in your office jointly with school <br />board members, on August 15, 1955. <br />In case the school district should want a photostatic copy of cardspD <br />aiad maps, inside the city limits, they can be supplied at cost m / <br />Remington -Rand or any other agency selected by the board. <br />a,w � <br />Should the school board want this survey to include the area outside <br />the city limits, an additional fee of Five Thousand (.$5000.00) Dollars <br />will be charged. <br />With reference to the widening of your highway as shown on the two <br />map strips containing 93 parcels of property with 60 owners, and being <br />2.76 miles in length, an additional fee of Six Hundred ($600.00) Dollars <br />will be charged, with an extra daily fee of Fifty (550.00) Dollars plus <br />expenses for appearance in court. <br />In regard to the tax valuationvaork, we should appreciate as early <br />an action as is convenient to you, as we have been invited to submit <br />sealed bids to the City of Bay City between August 27 and 31, for <br />valuation work in that city. Should we be awarded your contract, we <br />would not submit bids on the Bay City job. <br />We should like to offer for reference the following names of as- <br />sessors for whom we have recently worked: <br />Mr. V.
