<br />8 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE <br />TO BIDDERS <br /> <br />J <br /> <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS <br />COUNTY OF HAYS <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br /> <br />On this the _day of March, 1956, the City Council of the <br /> <br />City of San Marcos, Texas, convened in regular session at the <br /> <br />regular meeting place thereof in the City Hall, with the following <br />members present, to-wit: <br /> <br />Frank E. Dietterich <br /> <br />, Mayor, <br /> <br />Coy De Viney <br />S. R. Beecrllft <br /> <br />Fr..nk D. Hill. Tr. <br /> <br />Aldermen, <br /> <br />Harold G. Smith <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Ann Ziemke <br /> <br />, City Secretary, <br /> <br />and the following absent: Calvin M. Allen <br /> <br />constituting a qourum, when among other proceedings had, were the <br /> <br />following: <br /> <br />Alderman <br /> <br />Beecroft <br /> <br />introduced a resolution and <br /> <br />moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by Alderman <br /> <br />Smith <br /> <br />The motion, carrying with it the adoption of the resolution, <br /> <br />prevailed by the following vote: <br />AYES: Aldermen Smi th <br /> <br />Beecroft <br /> <br />De Viney <br /> <br />Hill <br /> <br />NOES: None. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The resolution is as follows: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO GIVE NOTICE TO BIDDERS <br />FOR THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN FIRE EQUIPMENT AND NOTICE OF <br />INTENTION OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS TO PAY ALL OR A PART <br />OF THE COST OF SUCH EQUIPMENT BY THE ISSUANCE AND DELIVERY <br />OF INTEREST BEARING TIME WARRANTS OUT OF AN ISSUE OF CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS FIRE STATION AND EQUIPMENT WARRANTS DATED <br />AUGUST 15, 1955, AUTHORIZED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON SEPTEMBER <br />7, 1955. <br />
