'I. --- 6. . ..tJ"-M'" <br /> <br />~I <br />I <br /> <br />TOOL & EQUIPMENT BOX.. .Tool box, which is 48" long by 27" wide by 14" deep, is <br />mounted directly over pump. It is constructed of hardwood, with all corners <br />reinforced with angle iron. The floor is removable. The entire box is <br />enclosed with metal panels, and a top deck is equipped with two large doors, <br />23" long by 20" wide, which open upward. A catch is provided to hold doors <br />open. The top deck is oval in shape and is held in place with a metal <br />frameworlt. This compartment is equipped with a light which turns on auto- <br />matically when either door is opened. The pump compartment beneath equip.. <br />ment box is also equipped with lights which turn on automatically when <br />either door in panels on right and left side of truck are opened. These <br />deck doors, as well as panel doors, and the removable floor board in tool <br />box, make the pump readily accessible for inspection, maintenance, and <br />repairs. In addition, the deck and panels can be removed without disturbing <br />the hose body. All doors specified above are equipped with brass chromium- <br />plated continuous hinges, and all hardware is brass chromium-plated. <br /> <br />EXTRA TOOL & EQUIPMENT BOX... Is built into the rear of the body. This extra tool <br />box, of 16 gauge metal, is completely lined with wood. The door is made <br />of 1/8" thick aluminum floorplate, swung on brass chromium-plated continuous <br />hinge. This door has two brass chromium-plated catches at bottom. Size of <br />this extra tool box is 16" high by 18" deep by 55" long. <br /> <br />f <br /> <br />LADDER BRACKETS & HOLDERS...Are made of tubular steel securely fastened and braced <br />to the right side of hose body at both top and bottom. Ladder locks are <br />quick-acting type. All springs and other mechanism are enclosed and packed <br />in grease. The locks are made of brass and chromium-plated.
