Beecroft made a motion that effective July 1st, 1957 the <br />hospitai be charged for water, sewer, and garbage; and the college be increased from <br />$125.00 to $150.00 per month for the charge of hauling garbage. Mr. Steakley <br />seconded the motion. Steakley then made a motion to adopt an ordinance amending an oI'dinance; <br />correcting fIeld notes of an are~ annexed to the City. !Ib:. Beecroft seconded the <br />motion. A vote 'nas taken wh:ich x'esul ted unanimously in favor of the motion. The <br />ordinance follows these minutes and becomes a part hereof. <br /> <br />rJ!r. Beecroft made a motion that I~.h'. Hillburn get bids on the Stephenson and <br />2 ~ J.. Resuscitator and then buy the low bid.. tv'll'. Oavis seconded the Elotion. Upon <br />being PUc to a vote the motion carried. <br /> <br />A fire hydrant on Gravel Street was requested by surrounding !Jroperty ov.mers. <br />Jt was estimated that it would cost aboul: j;1~400.00 to install tbis hydrant. It <br />was decided to defer action on same, until funds are available. <br /> <br />The question of raising the salary of Mr. Carl Wilson, Supt. of Sewer Plant <br />was brought to the attenti.on of the Council. It was mutually agreed to defer action <br />until l\!ir. Fuller took over as City Manage!' and then 1s-': him valuate the jOD. <br /> <br />A discussion then Brose as to the county bearing ~ts proportio~ If the expense <br />or QU'::,-Gf-tO\Nn calls made by the -fire cle?2.rtment. :.::t was decided '~h&~ ['ilr.
