<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />~. <br />,", ,. r.,. t" 1 " <br />\}!: ;.;i;) <br /> <br />City agrees: <br /> <br />(a) To cooperate fully with the Engineers by supplying <br /> <br />all available records, maps, drawings, bench marks and <br /> <br />any other data which the City may have that bears on <br /> <br />the project, and to supply unskilled or semi-skilled <br /> <br />labor from City forces to assist the Engineers in making <br /> <br />field studies, surveys, etc. If sub-surface investiga- <br /> <br />tions, borings, or soil bearing tests are mutually <br /> <br />agreed upon as necessary or desirable, the City shall <br /> <br />have such sub-surface investigations made, under direction <br /> <br />of the Engineers, and at the expense of the City. <br /> <br />(b) To pay the Engineers a fixed fee of One Thousand <br />Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) for the Preliminary <br /> <br />Report, hereinabove mentioned, which sum shall compensate <br /> <br />the Engineers for salaries, travel, subsistance and all <br /> <br />other expenses incurred in making the report. <br /> <br />The fee for the Preliminary Pn\lse;of the work <br /> <br />shall be due and payable to the Engineers by the City <br /> <br />upon submission of and the acceptance by the City of <br /> <br />the Preliminary Report, above described. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />CONSTRUCTION DRAWIN3S AND SPECIFICATIONS PHASE <br /> <br />(1) To make all necessary field studies, investigations, <br /> <br />surveys, and other studies in order to prepare detailed <br /> <br />construction plans, specifications, contract documents and <br /> <br />other pertinent documents for such of the improvements contempl- <br /> <br />ated in paragraph 3, herein, aa are specifically authorized <br /> <br />by the City in writing, and which are covered in the Prelim- <br /> <br />inary Report, or are found mandatory or desirable by the <br /> <br />City and the Engineers by reason of developments subsequent <br /> <br />to the writing of the Preliminary Report. After completion of the <br /> <br />said construction plans, specifications, contract documents, and <br /> <br />otherpertinent documents, the Engineers are to submit to any <br /> <br />Federal, State or other agency having regulatory or financial <br /> <br />interest in the project.and to secure approval hereof; and <br /> <br />further: <br /> <br />(a) To submit to the City with such plans, specifi- <br /> <br />cations, contract documents, and other pertinent docu~ <br /> <br />ments, a detailed construction cost estimate so that <br />
