<br />~ <br />::0 <br />~ <br />t:"') <br />Cl'J <br /> <br />Ihe' Ci ty Manager reported that Russ and Company, San Antonio <br />had offered ten 1951 Waterworks and Sewer Improvement and Extension <br />Revenue Bonds to the City at a price of 79.10. Upon motion of Alder- <br />man Tuttle, seconded by Alderman Beecroft, that as there were not <br />sufficient funds available in the sinking funds for the City to <br />acquire these bonds, the purchase be refused. The motion carried. <br /> <br />Alderman Tuttle brought up for discussion the matter of <br />itinerant merchants, peddlers and solicitors. After a lengthy dis- <br />cussion it waS the decision of the Council that the City Manager <br />and City Attorney draft a neW ordinance regulating this type of <br />operation. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />A request from the City Manager that the Council consider <br />sewer service in the Ramsey Addition of Millview was tabled for <br />additional information as to the number of houses to be served and <br />a final cost estimate. <br /> <br />The members of the Council offered their services in <br />assisting the newly elected alderman to become familiar with the <br />City's operation.
