<br />42a <br />)'1;;"' <br /> <br />~ <br />~ <br />~1'B <br />:z:;,. <br />~ <br /> <br />(f) <br /> <br />Each person desiring to apply for a <br />Maintenenace Electrician Restricted <br />License as hereinafter provided, shall <br />make written application for and pass an <br />examination approved by the Electrical Board <br />and shall pay the City of San Marcos an annual <br />fee of Five Dollars (5.00) for the first year <br />or fraction thereof and Five Dollars ($5.00) <br />for each succeeding year for the renewal of <br />said license. <br />There shall be added to this Subsection <br />the fOllowing wording. <br /> <br />An examination for a Journeyman Electrician's I <br />License shall be of such a nature as to clearly <br />sho~ 'he applicant!s ability to satisfactorily <br />follow written and verbal instructions and <br />a thorough knowledge of the latest edition of <br />the National Electrical Code, this Ordinance <br />and such other recognized requirements pertain- <br />ing to electrical work as shall be required by <br />the Electrical Board. A grade of 75% must be <br />obtained by the applicant for the issuance of <br />a Journeyman Electrician's License. The holder <br />of the said license shall be employed by and do <br />work under the supervision of a Master Electrician. <br /> <br />An applicant for a Maintenance Electrical License <br />Restricted shall obtain a grade ot 75% on an <br />examination designed to sho~that the applicant <br />has a thorough and satisfactory knowledge of the <br />work to be done, the latest edition of the National <br />Electricaf Code, this Ordinance and such other <br />recognized pertinent requirements to do electrical <br />work. <br /> <br />(h) <br /> <br />Ther:wording' of this Subsect~on shall be deleted <br />in its entirety aOd the following wording <br />substituted therefor. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />when an applicant has satisfactorily complied <br />with all of bhe requirements of this Ordinance, <br />~he Electrical Board shall instruct the Electri- <br />cal Inspector to issue to the applicant the <br />license for which he has qualified. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this lOth day of July, A.D., 1962. <br /> <br />AT17, /Sf,J, <br />tt; " "! /) <br />.
