<br />adjourned regular meeting, april 23, 1963 page three <br /> <br />-, <br /> <br />(,! <br /> <br />AYE I Moore, Pool, Ruiz, Stokes, Swift <br />NAY: None <br /> <br />Whereupon, the Mayor declared the Ordinance Passed, Approved and Adopted. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The name of Albert Aranda was discussed as a possibility for membership <br />on the Board of Equalization, and it was agreed by common consent that <br />if any of the three named could not serve, Mr. Aranda would be appointed <br />to the Board. <br /> <br />Tax Attorney Ross Terry's contract was discussed. The City Manager <br />made it clear that he liked Mr. Terry's work, but he recommended that <br />the contract be let for one year instead of the two years written into <br />the contract. <br /> <br />Alderman Stokes said the Council had been criticized for employing an <br />out-of-town tax attorney.
