-7- C\ r Servant's Quarters: An accessory building or. portion of a main building located on the same lot as the main building and used as living quarters for servants employed on the premises and not rented or otherwise used as a separate domicile. I Storage Garage: A building or portion thereof used for the storage of more than five (5) passenger motor vehicles and trucks of not more than one and one-half (1 1/2) ton capacity. Story: The vertical distance between the floor and ceiling not to exceed 15 feet. Story-half: A story under a gable, hip, gamble roof. the floor area of which does not exceed more than 75% of the area of the floor immediately below the half-story. Street: Any thoroughfare or public driveway, other than an alley, and more than twenty feet (20Ft.) in width, which has been dedicated or deeded to the public for public use. Street Line: A dividing line between a lot, tract or parcel of land and a contiguous street. Structural Alterations: Any change in supporting members of a building such as bearing walls, columns. girders, beams or the entire roof. I Tourist COUlt: One (1) or more buildings designed or used as temporary living quarters for automobile transients in which individual cooking facilities mayor may not be provided. In all cases, one (1) off-street parking space shall be provided for each room or suite of rooms in the touris t court. Two-Family Dwellings: A building having separate accom- modationsfor and occupied by not more than two (2) families. Trailer Camp or Park: An area designed, arranged, or used for the parking or storing of one (1) or more auto trailers which are occupied or intended for occupancy as temporary living quarters by individuals or families. Use Car Lot: A lot or portion thereof to be used only for the display and sale of automobiles that are in condition to be driven on or off the 10L A used car lot shall not be used for the storage of wrecked automobiles, or the dismantling of automobiles, or the storage of automobile parts. I SECTION 5 DISTRICTS DESIGNATED A. The City of San Marcos is hereby divided into seven (7) types of "Districts". The use and regulatIOns shall be uniform in each district. These districts shall be known as: "R" Single-Family Dwelling District ., D" Duplex, Multiple Filmily District "M" Single, duplex, multiple family dwellings and neighborhood businesses.
