<br />-9- <br /> <br />~I <br /> <br />SECTION 9 <br /> <br />"D" DUPLEX, MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT <br /> <br />In a "D" District no land shall be used and no building <br />shall be erected for or converted to any othe r use than: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />1. Any use permitted in "R" District <br />2 . Two- F ami! y dwell ing s or dupl ex <br />3. Garage Apartments <br />4. Apartment:'houses and apartment hotels in which <br />rooms and apartments are rented to resident guests <br />but excluding all retail businesses. <br />S. Lodging houses. <br /> <br />SECTION 10 <br /> <br />"M" SINGLE, DUPLEX, MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLINGS <br />AND NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESSES. <br /> <br />In an "M" District, no land shall be used and no building <br />shall be ereCted for or converted to any other than: <br /> <br />'I <br /> <br />1. Any use permitted in a "D" District <br />2. Neighborhood businesses including the following: <br />antique shops, aquariums, art galleries, ambulance <br />services, branch banks, business offices, sub-post <br />offices, parking lots, retan stores (limited to <br />neighborhood groceries, drug stores. appliances, <br />variety stores, bakeries, shoe repair, flowers, <br />barber shops, books and stationery, beauty shops, <br />delicatessens, and gasoline filling stations; service <br />activities including appl1cance repairs, tailors, dress <br />makers. cleaners. and other similar occupations. <br /> <br />Neighborhood businesser shall not be eligible If employ- <br />ing more than five persons, includi~ the owners <br />and members of the fam i!y actively engaged in the <br />operation of the business. <br /> <br />3. Professional offices. <br />4. Mortuaries and funeral homes <br />S. Private Schools <br />6. Nurseries <br />7. Rest Homes <br />8. Hospitals <br />9. Clinics <br />10. Convalescent Homes <br />11. Ma ternity homes <br />12. Excepting: Institutions for the care of the insane, <br />alcoholic and narcotic additions, animal hospitals <br />and animal clinics. <br /> <br />SECTION 11 "P" PUBLIC USE INCLUDING GOVERNMENTAL, POOLS, <br />PARKS, SCHOOLS, ETC., DISTRICT. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />In a "P" District, the land may be used for any use <br />permitted in a "M" District; however, it is the intention <br />of thi s Ordinance that its primary use shall be as indicated <br />in the following two categories, namely, "P-I" Governmental, <br />and "P-2" Educational. Any use contrary thereto is subject <br />to the, usages set forth in this section. <br />
