<br />-11- <br /> <br />r,}. :3 <br /> <br />and other buildings not classified as living quarters or <br />dormitories, 80% of the available land area; in dormitories <br />the floor ar ea may not exceed two times the lot area, <br />basement to be included in floor area; "C" District, <br />100% (including off-street parking); and" I" District, <br />100% including off-street parking. <br /> <br />SECTION 15 PARKING <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Adequate off-street parking shall be provided for all land <br />uses in the City of San Marcos. The number of parking <br />spaces considered adequate for each district which a use <br />is proposed in the following areas shall be: <br /> <br />1. "R" Districts', two parking spaces for each <br />famil y dwelling. <br />2. "D" Districts, two parking spaces shall be provided <br />for the first dwelling unit plus one space for <br />each additional dwelling unit; <br />3, "M" Districts, two parking spaces shall be pro- <br />vided for each dwelling plus one space for each <br />additional dwelling unit,except for businesses <br />which shall require three plus one parking space <br />for each 125 sq,ft. of floor area. <br />4, "P" Districts are as follows: <br /> <br />Classrooms - one space for each classroom <br />plus one for each fen students. <br />Libraries - one space for each 500 sq.ft. <br />of floor area. <br />Laboratories - one space for each 500 sq. ft. <br />of floor area. <br />Fraternity houses - one space for each two <br />beds. <br />Sorority houses - two spaces for each five <br />beds. <br />Student centers - one space for each 600 sq, <br />ft. of floor area. <br />Auditoriums - one space for each three seats. <br />Stadiums - one space for each three seats. <br />Dormitories, Women - two spaces for each <br />five beds. <br />Dormitories. Men - one space for each two <br />beds. <br />The above regulations a thru J shall not <br />apply to private schools which do not permit <br />students to bring motor vehicles to the <br />institution; however, the educational institution <br />shall be required to provide adequate off-street <br />parking for faculty, administrative personnel, <br />and athletic ev'ents including visiting of parents <br />and/or other personnel. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />"C" Districts - One. oft-street parking space for <br />each regular employee plus one space for each <br />300 sq , ft. of floor area . <br />"I" Districts - One off-street parking 'space for <br />each regularly assigned offtceror supervisor plus <br />one for each 300 sQ. ft. of flool-area not including <br />storage area for products. <br /> <br /> <br />6. <br />
