<br />adjourned regular meeting, august 20, 1963 page two <br /> <br />Dr. Pool proposed the names of six persons to serve on the <br />Equal Opportunities Committee, the seventh to be named at a <br />later date. He said all had agreed to serve. Alderman Pool <br />stated a complaint had already been given him for the Committee. <br />Alderman Stokes moved that Elmer DeShazo, John Arredondo, jr., <br />Mrs. Martin Juel, Mrs. Hugh Meredith, James Smith and Thomas <br />Yoakum be appointed to the Equal Opportunities Committee; and, <br />, further, that the complaint be referred to the Committee without <br />comment.
