,I I I ~~"3"'.7 6 .e;-- 1& - '~,.- --~~~~-~ '+1 RESOLUTION OF THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A PROPOSED COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AN D ,THE URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, IN CONNECTION WITH THE URBAN RENEWAL PROJECT NO. TEX R-73, AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THERE- OF BY THE MAYOR. WHEREAS, it is desirable that the City of San Marcos, Texas, and the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of San Marcos, Texas, execute a mutual agreement to provide certain actions, work, and local grants-in-aid in the undertaking and carrying out of the Chautauqua Hill Urban Renewal Project No. Tex. R-73 in San Marcos, Texas; and, WHEREAS, the Housing and Home Finance Agency, an agency of the United States of America, requires as a condition precedent to the disbursement of Federal funds to aid In the undertaking and carrying out of said project, that the City and said Urban Renewal Agency enter into a Cooperation Agreement relating to the undertaking of the proposed Urban Renewal ~i" Project activities by said Urban Renewal Agency and the pr~ vision of Local grants-in-aid In relation thereto and in support thereof, together with certain other cooperative action on the part of the City of San Marcos In support and aid of said Urban Renewal Project. NOW, THEREFORE, 8E IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of San Marcos, Texas, that the proposed Cooperation Agreement submitted to the City Council, dated the 26tn day of August, 1963, be, and the same is hereby auth,orized to eKeculte such Cooperation Agreement on behalf of the City of San Marcos.
