<br />regular meeting, november 9, 1964, page four <br /> <br />A communication from the Tax Assessor-Collector re- <br />quested a ruling by the Counci Ion the tax evaluation <br />on Lot 7, Block 10 of Spring Lake Hi lis Addition. It <br />involved a change of ownership of the property, and a <br />protest of the evaluation after the Board of Equali- <br />zation had completed its work and submitted its report. <br />The matter was thoroughly discussed. Alderman Ruiz <br />moved that the 1964 Tax Roll, as approved by the Counci~. <br />remain without adjustment. Alderman Pool seconded the <br />motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The City Manager proposed several ways in which meetings <br />of the Council could be expedited. By common consent, <br />members of the Counci I agreed to study the City Manager's <br />Memorandum, for consideration at the next meeting. <br /> <br />The City Manager reported to the Council that an impasse <br />had been reached in acquisition of right-of-way for ex- <br />tension of RM 12 through San Marcos. Alderman Ruiz moved <br />that the City Manager be authorized to start condemnation <br />proceedings if this action became necessary to acquire the <br />right-of-way.
