Alderman Whittenberg seconded the motion and on rol I cal I, the fol lowing vote was recorded; I AYE: NAY: Pool. Ruiz, Serur, Tuttle, Whittenberg None The Mayor declared the motion carried. Alderman Ruiz said to the firm's representative: "Mr. Springs, please tel I Mr. Behring that his savings on insurance premiums wi I I more than pay the cost of materials." Mayor Pro-Tern Serur moved that a proper letter be written to Mr. Taylor, to be signed by the Aldermen, expressing their regret at his resignation, and thanking him for his service. On second of Alderman Pool, the motion passed unanimously. City Manager Fuller expressed regret, on behalf of himself and all City employees, the Mayor's resignation: "We have enjoyed working under you and for you. and appreciate the opportunity for that relationship. I know I express the feeling of all City employees when I wish you every success in your new work."
