SECTION lV. SECTION V. SECTION VI. INVESTIGATION OF APPLICATION. The City Counci I shal I make or cause to be made such investigation as it may consider necessary, including hearings that it may deem desitable. PUBLIC NECESSITY BEFORE ISSUANCE. If the City Council Finds that publ ic necessity requires the operation of a greater or lesser number of bi I liard tables than that for which the appl icant has applied, and finds that the appl icant is approved, and that the other requirements herein have been complied with, it shall notify the applicant of its findings. If it does not find that public convenience and necessity require the operation of additional bi II iard tables, it shall forthwith refuse such appl ication and no permit hereunder shal I be issued for ap- plicant. A permit issued hereunder shal I not be transferable. I HOURS OF OPERATION: No person may engage in the operation for profit, of any pool or bi I I iard table or tables within the City of San Marcos on weekdays between the hours of 12 o'clock midnight and 7 o'clock a.m. fol- lowing; provided, howver, that such table or tables may be operated on Sundays only be- tween the hours of I o'clock p.m. and 12 o'clock midnight. SECTION VII. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: The sale of alcohol- I ic beverages in or on the premises licen- sed hereunder is hereby prohibited. No person, firm, association of persons, cor- porations and other organization authoriz- ed under the laws of the State of Texas, for which a permit is issued hereunder, shal I knowingly permit the sale, use or consumption of any kind of alcoholic beverage or beverages in or upon the premises for which a permit is issued. SECTION VII I. ADMINISTRATIVE CHARGES AND LICENSE TAX: Every person operating or desihing to oper- ate bi I liard tables for profit in the City of San Marcos, Texas, shal I pay to said City an annual charge to cover administrative cost involved in the conduct of the initial and each subsequent annua I invest i gat i on of the establ ishment and its operation; the Admin- istrative Charge shal I be as fol lows: $25.00 for the first table and $10.00 per I table for the second. third and fourth tables in any location.
