<br />SECTION lV. <br /> <br />SECTION V. <br /> <br />SECTION VI. <br /> <br />INVESTIGATION OF APPLICATION. The City <br />Counci I shal I make or cause to be made <br />such investigation as it may consider <br />necessary, including hearings that it <br />may deem desitable. <br /> <br />PUBLIC NECESSITY BEFORE ISSUANCE. If the <br />City Council Finds that publ ic necessity <br />requires the operation of a greater or <br />lesser number of bi I liard tables than that <br />for which the appl icant has applied, and <br />finds that the appl icant is approved, and <br />that the other requirements herein have been <br />complied with, it shall notify the applicant <br />of its findings. If it does not find that <br />public convenience and necessity require the <br />operation of additional bi II iard tables, it <br />shall forthwith refuse such appl ication and <br />no permit hereunder shal I be issued for ap- <br />plicant. A permit issued hereunder shal I <br />not be transferable. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />HOURS OF OPERATION: No person may engage <br />in the operation for profit, of any pool or <br />bi I I iard table or tables within the City of <br />San Marcos on weekdays between the hours of <br />12 o'clock midnight and 7 o'clock a.m. fol- <br />lowing; provided, howver, that such table or <br />tables may be operated on Sundays only be- <br />tween the hours of I o'clock p.m. and 12 <br />o'clock midnight. <br /> <br />SECTION VII. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: The sale of alcohol- I <br />ic beverages in or on the premises licen- <br />sed hereunder is hereby prohibited. No <br />person, firm, association of persons, cor- <br />porations and other organization authoriz- <br />ed under the laws of the State of Texas, <br />for which a permit is issued hereunder, <br />shal I knowingly permit the sale, use or <br />consumption of any kind of alcoholic beverage <br />or beverages in or upon the premises for <br />which a permit is issued. <br /> <br />SECTION VII I. ADMINISTRATIVE CHARGES AND LICENSE TAX: <br />Every person operating or desihing to oper- <br />ate bi I liard tables for profit in the City <br />of San Marcos, Texas, shal I pay to said City <br />an annual charge to cover administrative cost <br />involved in the conduct of the initial and <br />each subsequent annua I invest i gat i on of the <br />establ ishment and its operation; the Admin- <br />istrative Charge shal I be as fol lows: <br />$25.00 for the first table and $10.00 per I <br />table for the second. third and fourth tables <br />in any location.
