<br />~5 <br /> <br />STATE OF TEXAS <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAYS 1 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, I, the undersigned, owner of a strip of land contiguous <br />and adjacent to the present boundary line of the City of San Marcos, said <br />strip of land not exceeding one-half 0/2) mile in width, and further being <br />vacant and without residents, in accordance with Section 974g of VATS, <br />hereby petition the Governing Body of the City of San Marcos, Texas, to <br />accept said strip of land within its corporate boundaries that it may receive <br />all the benefits and privileges of being a part of the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas; and, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a map of the area is attached hereto and marked as Exhibit <br />U A", the said strip of land being more particularly described by metes and <br />bounds as follows: <br /> <br />BEGINNING at a point in the City Limit line being the South- <br />east line of Larue Drive and said point being the Northwest <br />corner of Lot 6, Block 4, Oak Heights Addition; and, <br /> <br />THENCE, in a Southeasterly direction along the common line <br />between Lots 5 & 6 to a point which point is the Southwest <br />corner of Lots 6; and, <br /> <br />THENCE, in a Northeasterly direction along the common line <br />between Lots 6 & 17, Block 4, to a point, which point is <br />the Southeast corner of Lot 6; and, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />THENCE, in a Northwesterly direction along the common line <br />between Lots 6 and 7, Block 4, to the Northeast corner of <br />Lot 6, a point in the Southeast line of Larue Drive, and <br />which point Is the City Limit line; and. <br /> <br />THENCE, in a Southwesterly direction along the Southeast <br />line of Larue Drive to the Northwest corner of said Lot 6, <br />the PLACE OF BEGINNING, as recorded in V .1 4, Page 586, <br />of the Deed Records of Hays County, Te <br /> <br /> <br />STATE OF TEXAS <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAYS <br /> <br />I, .
