<br />You are hereby petitioned to annex the hereinafter described
<br />land to the City of San Marcos, by such annexation to thereby in-
<br />corporate such land within the municipal limits of the City of San Marcos.

<br />The land which you are so requested to annex is described as
<br />follows: (a) Lots Nos. Four Hundred (400), Four Hundred One (401),
<br />Four Hundred Two (402) and Four Hundred Three (403) of the Westover
<br />Addition to the City of San Marcos, together with all streets and alleys
<br />adjoining said lots, according to the map or plato~ said addition of
<br />record in Volume 59, pages 184-185, Hays County Deed Records. (b) Lots
<br />Nos. One (1), Two (2), Three (3), Four (4), Five (5) and Six (6) in
<br />Block No. Three (3), and Lots Nos. One (1), Two (2), Three (3), Four
<br />(4), Five (5) and Six (6) in Block No. Four (4) of the F. P. Dannelly
<br />Addition, together with all streets and alleys adjoining said lots,
<br />according to the map or plat of said addition of record in Volume W,
<br />page 405, Hays County Deed Records. (c) That parcel of land, being
<br />a part of that real property conveyed by and described in deed from
<br />Jack Perkins to John J. Stokes, such instrument being dated November
<br />30, 1957, and of record in Vol. 169, page 374, Hays County Deed Records,
<br />and being out of the T. J. Chambers League in Hays County, Texas, said
<br />parcel of land being described by metes and bounds as follows:
<br />BEGINNING at a point in the northeast line of the Westover Addition,
<br />map or plat of said addition being ofrecord in Volume 59, pages 184-
<br />185, Hays County Deed Records, and said point being N. 440 58' W. a
<br />distance of 35.80 feet from the most easterly corner of Lot No. 403
<br />of said Westover Addition; THENCE N. 440 58' W. with the Northeast
<br />line of said Westover Addition, and continuing a total distance of
<br />250.22 feet to an iron stake in the Southeast line of the Z. Williamson
<br />3rd Addition, map or plat of said addition being of record in Volume 59,
<br />page 546, Hays County Deed Records; THENCE N. 460 59' E. with the
<br />Southeast line of the Z. Williamson 3rd Addition a distance of 30.89
<br />feet to the most Westerly corner of the F. P. Dannelly Addition, map
<br />or plat of said addition being of record in Volume "W", page 405, Hays
<br />County Deed Records; THENCE S. 440 58' E. with the Southwest line of
<br />the F. P. Dannelly Addition, said Southwest line also being the south-
<br />west line of South Street~s platted a part of said Dannelly Addition,
<br />a distance of 250.22 feet to a point for corner; THENCE S. 450 00'
<br />W. a distance of 30.89 feet to an iron stake marking the point of
<br />BEGINNING, and containing 0.2 acres of land, more or less. Said maps
<br />or plats, and the records thereof, are hereby referred to and same
<br />made a part hereof for all pertinent, legal and descriptive purposes.

<br />The above-mentioned real property is contiguous and adjacent
<br />to territory which is presentty a part of the City of San Marcos. The
<br />undersigned are the sole owners of all of the real property above-
<br />mentioned, said real property being vacant and without any residents
<br />thereon. Said real property is le5s-, than one-half mile in width.
