<br />61 <br /> <br />State of Texas <br /> <br />Lease <br /> <br />County of Hays <br /> <br />On this the 18th <br /> <br />day of May, ~981, the City of San <br /> <br />Marcos, Texas, a municipal corporation located in Hays County, <br /> <br />existing by and under the laws of the State of Texas, and <br /> <br />acting through authority granted City Manger A.C. Gonzalez by <br /> <br />Resolution duly adopted May 18, 1981 <br /> <br />, hereinafter <br /> <br />"City" and Joe B. Millican, hereinafter "Millican" hereby enter <br /> <br />into this agreement on the stated terms and conditions for <br /> <br />the lease of eight acres more or less located adjacent to <br /> <br />north boundary of the City of San Marcos contact stabilization <br /> <br />treatment plant and more particularly described as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at the city plant entrance gate thence <br />along city treatment plant fence westerly 632.5' <br />to the Northwest corner of the City's property; Thence <br />at 90 degrees in a northerly direction 592' feet to <br />Mr. Millican's north boundary fence; thence Easterly <br />along Mr. Millican's property 632.5' to the fence <br />corner marking the N.E. corner of the Lease, thence <br />southerly along Mr. Millican's property fence 592' <br />feet to point of beginning. <br /> <br />I . <br /> <br />The term of the Lease shall be from June 1, 1981, to <br /> <br />February 28, 1982. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />For and in consideration of the use by City of the <br /> <br />above described real property to dispose of excess solids <br /> <br />from the City of San Marcos contact stabilization treatment <br /> <br />plant City agrees to pay to Millican the sum of one thousand <br /> <br />dollars ($1,000). <br />
