Caption of the <br />ordinance is as fol lows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING I <br />MAP OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, BY CHANGING A <br />PARCEL OF REAL PROPEl/1TY, LOCATED WITHIN <br />THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, FROM ITS <br />PRESENT ZONING AS "R", SINGLE FAMILY <br />DWELLING DISTRICT TO "Dfl, MULTI-FAMILY <br />DISTRICT <br /> <br />Alderman Korff moved approval of the change in <br />zoning of the Wi IsDn property f~om "R" to "0", <br />and adoption of the ordinance ~mending the <br />zoning map. Aldermah Damon seconded the motion and <br />on roll calt, the fol lowing vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br />NAY: <br /> <br />Damon, Froh, Korff, Pool, Whittenberg <br />None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the motion carried, and the <br />Ordinance Passed,Approved and Adopted. <br /> <br />The Mayor announced that an auditing firm must be ap- <br />pointed for the 1966 Audit. Alderman Korff moved ap- <br />pointment of Ernst &> Ernst, the firm that has been <br />employed by the City for the past several years. <br />Alderman Pool seconded the motion and on roll cal I the <br />fol lowing vote Was recorded: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />AYE: <br />NAY: <br /> <br />Damon, Froh, Korff, Pool, Whittenberg <br />None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the motion carried. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced for discussion the City's present <br />policy for issuing parking meter permits to certain <br />officials and firms. The City Manager reminded the <br />Counci I of his recommendation ~ year ago. The matter <br />was discussed. Alderman Korff said he would like to <br />know what other tities do about permits. After further <br />discussion, it was agreed by common consent to defer a <br />decision unti I the next meeting. <br /> <br />The Mayor read aloud a letter from J.T. Brown, Executive <br />Director of Urban Renewal Agency, with an accompanying <br />statement of money which the City owes on the Chautauqua <br />Hi I I Project. Alderman Pool moved the account be paid. <br />Alderman Damon seconded the motion. The matter was dis- <br />cussed.
