used tractor-loader warrants ordinance NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ISSUE TIME WARRANTS BY THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS Notice is hereby given by the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas to issue TIME WARRANTS for the purpose of financing the purchase of the following described equipment: (a) Two (2) eighteen cubic yeard rear-loading refuse collecting bodies mounted on 1967 Chevrolet trucks. (b) Two (2) 1967 police cars. (c) One (1) used tractor-loader. I Such warrants shall be in the total amount of $26,938.86, such sum to bear interest at the rate of 4~% per annum, to be payable on or before 5 years from date thereof, and shall be issued on or before the 13th day of February, 1967, unless prior to said date ten percent of the qualified voters of the City of San Marcos, whose names appear on the last approved tax rolls as property taxpayers, petition the City Council in writing to submit to a referendum vote the question as to the issuance of said warrants for such purposes. Worrell City Secretary WHEREAS, it further appears and the City Council I affirmatively so finds and declares that no protest or other objection has been filed with or presented to the City Secretary, or the Mayor, or the City Council, by ten percent in number of the qualified voters in said City, whose names appear in the last approved tax rolls as property tax payers, or by any other number of the qualified voters of said City, requesting a re- ferendum vote, or otherwise protesting, or objecting to, the issuance of said interest bearing time warrants in payment for said tractor-loader; and, WHEREAS, the Girard Machinery & Supply Company of San Antonio, Texas, has submitted the lowest bid, namely, $6,800.0B, for a tractor-loader meeting the specifications set forth in the above notice; THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas: That the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, does hereby authorize the Mayor and the City Secretary to accept from said Girard Machinery & Supply Company of San Antonio, Texas, the tractor-loader described in said Company's bid, namely, one used Case Model 1000 Crawler-Loader-Counterweight, with Cont. J.D. 382 Diesel Engine, Torque Converter, Power Shift I Transmission, l~ Cu. Yd. Loader Bucket with teeth, together with bill of sale conveying said tractor-loader to the City of San Marcos.
