Plats accompanying the petitians <br />were examined by the Counci I. Alderman Pool moved that both <br />petitions be accepted. Alderman Froh seconded the motion and <br />on 1'01 I cal" the fol lowing vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br />NAY: <br /> <br />Damon, Froh, Korff, Pool, Whittenberg <br />None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the motion narried. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced an item on the Agenda concerning the <br />proposal made to the City by LCRA. He read a letter from the <br />City Attorney, advising the Council against accepting the pro= <br />posed LCRA contract as presented, see attached. After brief <br />discussion of the matter, Alderman Pool moved that the City <br />accept LCRA's proposal; without amendment. Alderman Whitten- <br />berg seconded the motion. Lengthy discussion follo~ed. The <br />Mayor counseled against acting against the City Attorney's <br />adv ice. Dr. Poo I read a porti on of a I etter to the Counc i I, <br />from Sim Gideon, Manager of LCRA, see attached.
