I Appointment of City officials being the next order of business, Dr. Pool moved that Mrs. DorothyO. Worrel I be reappointed to her position as City Secretary. Mr. Damon seconded the motion and on roll call, the fol low- ing vote was recorded: AYE: Damon, Craddock, Flores, Korff, Pool, Serur, Whittenberg NAY: None The Mayor declared the motion carried. Counc j I man Wh i ttenberg reca II ed to the Counc i I that during part of November and al I of December, 1965 and part of January 1966, Mrs. Worrel I had, at the request of the Council, served as Acting City Manager; that she had been told she would be compensated for the additional work and responsibi lity, which was right and just; and that she had not been paid. Mr. Whittenberg moved that Mrs. Worrel I be paid $300 for her services at that time. Dr Craddock seconded the motion and on roll cal I, the following vote was recorded: NAY: None AYE: Damon, Craddock, Flores, Korff, Pool, Serur, Whittenberg I The Mayor declared the motion carried Dr. Pool added that the Counc i I wished to express its apprec i at i on to Mrs. Worre ( I, for the performance of those important duties, in addition to her regular duties as City Secretary. Councilman Damon moved that Dr. Ben Copass b~ reappointed Corporation Judge. Dr. Pool seconded the motion and on roll call, the followin~ vote was recorded: AYE: Damon, Craddock, Flores, Korff, Pool, Serur, Whittenberg NAY: None The Mayor declared the motion carried.
