<br />" <br />(J <br /> <br />regular meeting, apri I 10, 1967 <br /> <br />page four <br /> <br />Dr. Pool requested that better arrangements for seating <br />the Counci I be made. <br /> <br />Kenneth Finch of Ernst &' Ernst, the City's au.ditors, <br />gave an annual audit report, see attached letter and <br />report. He stressed the need for good budgetary <br />practices, especially in regard to stri~t use of <br />requisitions and issuance of purchase orders. A quest- <br />ion and answer session fol lowed. The Mayor thanked <br />Mr. Finch for the report. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced a Resolution reaffirming certain <br />points of the Cooperation Agreement between the City <br />and. the Local Housing Authority, signed in 1951. <br />The Resolution was read in ful I. Dr. Pool moved ap- <br />proval of the Resolution. Mr. Korff seconded the motion. <br />After discussion of the Cooperation Agreement and the <br />Resolution, the question was cal led for and the fol low- <br />ing vote recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Damon, Craddock, Flores, Korff, Pool, <br />Serur, Whittenberg <br />NAY: None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the Resolution Passed and Approved. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced and read aloud the O~dinance <br />embodying the proposal made the City by the Lower Col- <br />orado River Authority. The Ordinance had been approv- <br />ed, with deletion of one clause, at the March 27 meeting. <br />Discussion fol lowed on whether the present reading could <br />constitute the second reading. Mr. Whittenberg said it I <br />had been passed at the previous meeting, and Dr. Pool <br />had read it. Councilman Damon noted that the Minutes of <br />March 27 did not state that the Ordinance had been read <br />in fu II. Dr. Poo I asked that the Minutes be amended to <br />incAude that statement. The question being re~61~ed, <br />Dr. Pool moved approval of the Ordinance on second read- <br />ing. Mr. Whittenberg seconded the motion and on roll cal I, <br />the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Damon, Craddock, Flores, Korff, Pool, <br />Serur, Whittenberg <br />NAY: None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the Ordinance passed on second reading. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced two annexation ordinances for first <br />reading. Dr. Pool read in ful I an ordinance annexing a <br />portion of Hackberry Street, and moved its adoption. <br />Or.
