<br />and Mr. Cowan was not aware that he did not own the five
<br />acres, unti I a recent survey. An aerial photograph of the
<br />property was examined by the Counci I. On motion of M~. Damon
<br />and second of Dr. Craddock, the Counci I voted unanimously
<br />to refer the matter to the Land Committee, meeting with
<br />the City Manager.

<br />H.C. Kyle,111 appeared before the Counci I as an attorneY-I
<br />for the Housing Authority. Exhibiting a plat to explain ~~~~red
<br />his request, Mr. Kyle stated that a misunderstanding/~ith
<br />the Regional Office of Public Housing Authority in regard
<br />to the acreage in the land under option as a site for new
<br />housing units for San Marcos, see Mr. Kyle's letter of
<br />February 6, 1968, attached. He requested that the City
<br />convey to the Housing Authority of the City of San Marcos
<br />al I but a 50-ft. strip on the northeast end of the tract,
<br />needed to provide entry to the 4. I I acres owned by Mrs.
<br />E.C. Frisbie. The matter was thoroughly discussed. Mr.
<br />Korff moved that the City of San Marcos convey ~1Inbut~
<br />~,50~ft~3strip on the northeast ~end~r of the 0.75 acre
<br />tract to Doyle S. Peters, Trustee, in such a manner as title
<br />wi II not pass to Peters unti (Peters conveys all three tracts
<br />to the, Housing Authori*y. Dr. Pool seconded the motion and
<br />on roll call, the fol I~wing vote, was recorded:

<br />The Mayor introduced two ordinances relating to the City
<br />Officers Election to be held Apri I 2, 1968. Mr. Korff
<br />moved adoption of the Ordinance Establising Procedure for
<br />holding the election. Dr. Craddock seconded the motion
<br />and onroll cal I, the fol lowihg vote was recorded:

<br />The Mayor declared the Ordinance Passed, Approved and Adopted.
