<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Submission of Views and Proposals <br />As mentioned previously, public meeting and hearing notices will always <br />carry an invitation for the general public and/or any community groups to <br />appear before the CAB to present their views and opinions on Community Develop- <br />ment. All response to proposals regarding a CD program and presented by private <br />citizens or groups of citizens during a CD meeting should be made at the next <br />subsequent meeting, however, in the case of the last scheduled public hearing <br />in a series of the same, a response will be forthcoming within seven (7) working <br />days. <br /> <br />Any person or group of persons needing assistance in developing a CD pro- <br />posal should contact the CD staff at the Community Development Department, Staff <br />will be available to provide such assistance. <br /> <br />Complaints <br />Written responses to any complaint (s) filed either with the CD department <br />staff or before the CAB will be reviewed by both of these same entities before <br />responding to any charges. In any event, every reasonable effort will be made <br />to provide a written response to a complaint within fifteen (15) working days. <br /> <br />Technical Assistance <br />City staff is available to provide technical assistance to the CAB and <br />public in general on CD related matters. Technical assistance from other <br />sources will be secured to provide additional data as needed. <br /> <br />Adequate Information <br />In preparation for participation in the CD Block Grant Program, the City <br />of San Marcos will conduct a conrnunity-wide publ ic meeting which will be duly <br />III publicized to present, review, and discuss with residents the following: <br /> <br />3 <br />
