<br />. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />46b <br /> <br />reserves the right to refuse interment on any lot for which the <br /> <br />full purchase price, including perpetual care, has not been paid. <br /> <br />All deeds shall grant to the. lot or crypt owner or owners the right <br /> <br />to use such lots or crypts for interment of human remains only, <br /> <br />subject to provisions of these rules and regulations. <br /> <br />3. TRANSFER OR ASSIGNMENTS. No transfer or assignment of any lot, <br /> <br />or interest therein, shall be valid without the consent in writing <br /> <br />of the City to be had and endorsed upon such transfer or assignment, <br /> <br />and thereafter being recorded on the books of the City. The City <br /> <br />shall have the right to refuse to consent to a transfer or an assign- <br /> <br />ment as long as there is any indebtedness due the City by the owner <br /> <br />of record, or when the perpetual care fee has not been paid in full. <br /> <br />4. ENCLOSURE OF LOTS PROHIBITED. From and after the effective date <br /> <br />of these rules and regulations no enclosure of any kind, such as a <br /> <br />fence, curbing, coping, hedge, or ditch, shall be permitted around <br /> <br />any grave or lot in any addition. In the event an existing enclosure <br /> <br />is damaged so that it becomes unsightly, is hazardous to the safety <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />of visitors, or in any way infringes on the property of adjacent lot <br /> <br />owners, such enclosure must be repaired or removed at the expense <br /> <br />of the owner. In the event repair of damage or dilapidation is not <br /> <br />possible, replacement will not be permitted. <br /> <br />5. MONUMENTS, MARKERS, AND DECORATION OF LOTS. <br /> <br />A. No memorial, monument or grave marker (except the temporary <br /> <br />marker placed by funeral homes) will be allowed on any burial space <br /> <br />until the purchase price of the space including perpetual care, has <br /> <br />been fully paid and the deed has been delivered to the purchaser. <br /> <br />No monument or marker may be erected without first having obtained <br /> <br />a permit for placement from the City Secretary. Persons ereceting <br /> <br />monuments, or doing work of any kind, shall not scatter material <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />or rubbish over adjoining lots or leave the same on the ground <br /> <br />longer than is absolutely necessary. Persons performing work shall <br /> <br />be required to complete their efforts as soon as possible and remove <br /> <br />rubbish at once. Monument firms will be held responsible for any <br /> <br />damage done by them to other monuments, grass, trees, or any object <br /> <br />whatsoever in the cemetery, and shall at all times be subject to the <br /> <br />control and direction of the Caretaker.
