All commercial <br /> <br />enterprises are prohibited from placing their names on any work <br /> <br />or signs placed within the cemetery when such work or signs are <br /> <br />designed or calculated to advertise the firm or product. No <br /> <br />monument work will be permitted in the cemetery on Saturday aft.er- <br /> <br />noons, Sundays or holidays observed by the City or before 8:00 a.m. <br /> <br />or after 5:30 p.m. on any weekday. <br /> <br />Lot owners shall be required to <br /> <br />go to the cemetery and to locate the placement of monuments prior <br /> <br />to the construction of the foundation; otherwise the City will <br /> <br />assume no responsibility for the correct location, and any changes <br /> <br />ordered by the owners will be made at their expense. No upright <br /> <br />monuments or markers will be allowed in Section 1 of the Dixon <br /> <br />Addition or in Sections "N" and "M" of the Old Original Addition <br /> <br />of the San Marcos Cemetery. <br /> <br />B. Flowers, shrubs or trees may be planted and cultivated on any <br /> <br />grave only in the McGehee, Old Original, Roselawn and A. M. Ramsay <br /> <br />Addition of the cemetery. Fresh cut flowers will be <br /> <br />allowed at any time, but they will be removed within two weeks, <br /> <br />or if in the cemetery caretaker's opinion they become unsightly <br /> <br />or detrimental to maintenance. Artificial flowers, sprays, or <br /> <br />wreaths will be allowed, however they will be removed by the Caretaker <br /> <br />when they become unsightly or blown off of the graves. All d'~cora- <br /> <br />tions must be firmly secured or fastened to ground or marker. The <br /> <br />placing of boxes, shells, stones, boulders, toys, metal designs, <br /> <br />chairs, settees, urns, fences, trellises, wood or metal cases, and <br /> <br />similar articles upon lots shall not be permitted. <br /> <br />If any tree, <br /> <br />shrub, vine or plant growing upon any lot, walk or road shall by <br /> <br />means of its roots, branches or otherwise become detrimental to the <br /> <br />adjacent lots, walks or roads, the caretaker shall have the right <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />to remove or cut same when in his judgment he may determine it for <br /> <br />the best interests of the cemetery grounds. Fresh cut or artificial <br /> <br />flowers may be placed only in non-glass containers. Unfilled vases <br /> <br />will not be allowed to remain on lots, unless permanently affixed <br /> <br />to a monument, and will be removed from the lots on the first day of <br /> <br />each month, and held subject to the order of the lot owner for a <br /> <br />period of one month from the date of said removal, after which any <br />
