A copy of the questionaire is attached
(Appendix C).
There is space on the questionaire for citizens to make
additional and more specific comments. If a particular
comment is actually a routine request for service, such as a
missing stop sign replacement or request for a chug hole
patch, a copy of the returned questionaire is routed to
proper departments.
Citizens are encouraged, through the media to respond
in specifics to the questionaire.
Citizens are given six (6) weeks to respond. The
responses to the questionaire are grouped by enumeration
districts and analyzed for content by the Public Information
Officer.
The analysis of the utility bill questionaires coupled
with input from the neighborhood meetings and the service
and civic clubs is documented in a report.

4. Advisory Input

The cItIzen participation report is distributed to the
Urban Renewal Commission which provides additional comments
and suggestions before forwarding it to the City Council.
Two (2) other Council-appointed advisory groups, the Planning
and Zoning Commission and the Downtown Revitalization
Committee, also make recommendations to the City Council.
Before the Council begins to establish needs and
program priorities, the advisory groups will be given an
opportunity to give their input to the Council. An informal
presentation will be made to these groups essentially to
refresh their memories on the Community Development guide-
lines.
Each of those groups will outline suggestions on needs and
long and short term objectives, to include specific projects.
All meetings will be open to the public.

S.
