This will be accomplished by detailed review of all historical information, transfer documents deedin~ the property to the City, end all other data including current leases and other negotiations which heve taken place. In regard to Camp Gary, it is only intended to review their land holdin~, their need for such land and whether there may be opportunity in the future to obtain such land for airport purposes. Concurrent with this, a general review will be made of some of the buildings held by them, and whether these buildings might become surplus to their needs and be utilized for use which would . produce revenue to support and maintain the Airport. I This will require the holding of a series of meetings with Airport COl!Lmission members, contract officials of Camp Gary, interested influential members of the community and with City and County officials. FORECAST OF AVIATION DEI.IAND. The Consultant will, with the help of Airport Commission members, determine through forecasts or evaluation of currently available and acceptable information, the forecast of aviation demand by type of aircraft for San Marcos Municipal Airport. Analysis of existing Airport operation, social,economic, environmental and technical factors will be used in aviation demand forecast. DEMAND/CAPACITY/ANALYSIS. A broad based analysis of all related factors forecast for planning period will be compared with the capacity of the existing facilities, particularly on the build- ing side of the Airport. Any difference will serve to alert for action to obtain more land from the Dept. of Labor. I Although plannin~ of this Airport for pOSSible airline usage by the adjacent metropolitan area is not the responsibility of San IfJarcos, the analysis will include whether feasible expansion of this Airport is possible, and the direction that such ex- pans ion would take. The Airport Layout Plan is a group ofdrewings appropriate scale which present graphically all of the existing .- facilities, those proposed and the ultimate possibilities for at least 20 years. It will include a primary draWing on 1" equals 500' to show runway, taxiway, apron, clear zones (both existinz and future), which, although too small a scale to be dimensioned and used, will show an overall view of the Airport as it will look in the future. Additional draWings on a much larger scale will be included to show details of all facilities complete with dimensions that can be used for facilities actually constructed.
