<br />exhibit a continued <br /> <br />162n <br /> <br />LOWER COLORADO RIVER AImlORITI <br />RETAIL RATE ADJUS'IMENT SCHEDULE, IN <br />EFFECT WITIUN 1HE CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br />SCHEDULE IX-77 <br /> <br />APPLICABILITI <br /> <br />III <br /> <br />Applicable to all Retail Rate Schedules except Basic Large Lighting and <br />Power Rate Schedule nnr;oz <br /> <br />RATE ADJUSTMENTS <br /> <br />Charges resulting from the application of rates to which this schedule applies <br />shall be adjusted in accordance with the provisions of the Fuel Clause and <br />the Tax Clause, which are more fully described below: <br /> <br />Fuel Clause: <br /> <br />The Energy Charge per KWH shall be adjusted by the am01IDt of the Excess <br />Fuel and Power Costs for the preceding calendar month as calculated by the <br />Authori ty . <br /> <br />For the purpose of the monthly calculation Excess Fuel and f'ower Costs shall <br />mean <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />(1) the difference between two (2) mills per kilowatt hour and the actual <br />cost per kilowatt hour of all fuel used in all of the Authority's <br />steam electric generating plants; plus <br /> <br />(2) the difference between two (2) mills per kilowatt hour and the actu~l <br />cost per kilowatt hour of all electric energy purchased by it from <br />others on an emergency basis in order to meet its system load r~uirements, I <br />said emergency being brought about by inadequate supplies of fuel at <br />the Authori ty!s steam electric generating plants ;pilnS <br /> <br />(3) extraordinary costs of operating the Authority's Comal Plant on a limited <br />basis during period of time when fuel supplies at the Authority's other <br />steam electric generating plants are deemed to be inadequate to me'~t the <br />Authority's anticipated system load requirements; plus <br /> <br />(4) the costs to the Authority of obtaining, storing, handling and utilizing <br />alternate fuels of any nature required to be kept available for the <br />production of electric power during periods of fuel shortages and/or <br />curtailments; <br /> <br />divided by the total number of kilowatt hours of energy sold by the Autbority <br />during the month for which said calculation is being made consisting of: <br /> <br />(5) all sales at wholesale to rural electric cooperatives and municipalities <br />operating retail electric distribution systems; and <br /> <br />(6) all sales to all retail and industrial customers of the Authority. <br /> <br />Tax Clause: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Bills will be increased by the proportionate part of any new tax, or <br />increased rate of tax, or government imposition or charge levied or assessed <br />against the Authority or upon its electric business, or imposed as the, result <br />of any new or amended laws or lbrchi;nances subsequent to the effective dcate of <br />this ordinance. <br />
