38c B. That the Heating and Air Conditioning Inspector shall be responsible for'the supervisionamd inspection of all heating and air conditioning work within the City of San Marcos, Texas. C. That the Heating and Air Conditioning Inspector shall, upon application, issuance of a permit, and collection of the fees hereinpprovided, make inspections of all new heating and I air conditioning installations and make re-inspections of any existing heating' and air conditioning installations 'at such time as he may deem necessary for the purpose of safeguarding life and property. D. That the Heating'and,Air Conditioning Inspector shall ,have the right to enter any building during reasonable' hours in the discharge of his duty for ,the, purpose of making any inspection or test of any' heating and air conditioning equipment therein ; and where such installations are found hazardous to life or property or to'work of the Fire Department, or otherwise not .' in conformity with existing ordinances,' the' Heating and Air Conditioning Inspector is hereby empowered to disconnect such parts of installations or to order disconnection of electric service to any unit after having given notice in writing to the parties concerned, and such defective electric wiring shall not be re'-connected until made safe as directed by the Electrical Inspector. E. That it shall be unlawful for any person to interfere with the Heating and Air Conditioning Inspector in the discharge of his duties or to prevent him~from carrying out the provisions of this Ordinance. ' F. That the Heating and Air Conditioning Inspector, and/or I Heating and Air Conditioning Board shall rule upon all disputed questions pertaining to the installation of all heating and air conditioning equipment. G. That the Heating and Air Conditioning Inppector and/or the Heating and Air Conditioning Board shall have the right and authority to .suspend the license', of any Master Heating and Air Conditioning Contractor upon the violation of: any por- tion of this Ordinance, and the Heating and Air Conditioning Inspector shall file with ,the City Secretary a statement set- ting forth the reasons for such suspension. A copy of such report shall be given to the suspended Master Heating and Air Conditioning Contractor upon his request. If the Master Heating and Air Conditioning Contractor feels aggrieved by such suspen- sion, he may then notify the City Council in writing of his appeal and may appear- and be' ,heard by said, ci ty Council. If, upon full hearing before the City Council, it is determined by said Council that such suspension is well founded, then the Heating and Air,Conditioning License will be revoked and the City Attorney directed to take such' action as may be necessary to forfeit the bond of such Master Air Conditioning Contractor. 'H. That the City Heating and Air Conditioning Inspector shall not issue a Master Heating and Air Conditioning License I to any previous holder of a revoked license, except upon new application, approved by the examining Board after a thirty (30) day waiting period.
