<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />routine permits required by local, state, and federal auth9rities (as <br /> <br />distinguished from detailed applications and supporting documents for <br /> <br />government grant-in-aid, or for planning advances). <br /> <br />, <br />2.3.3 Establish the scope and advise the OWNER of any field <br />surveys necessary to collect the information needed to design the PROJECT, <br />and when authorized by OWNER, arrange for such surveys to be made for the <br />OWNER'S account, as set forth in Article 5. <br /> <br />2.3.4 <br /> <br />Prepare detailed contract drawings on drafting vellum or <br /> <br />mylar film, and/or on photographic reproducible mylar film; and prepare <br />the Specifications and Contract Documents for construction of the PROJECT. <br /> <br />2.3.5 <br /> <br />Whenever preparation of detailed contract drawings on all <br /> <br />parts of the individual items of work on the PROJECT is approximately <br /> <br />60% complete, the ENGINEER shall: <br />(a) Furnish five (5) copies of all contract drawings to <br /> <br />the OWNER for preliminary review and comments. <br />(b) Present a statement of the ENGINEER'S opinion on <br /> <br />construction costs, updated to relate to the design <br /> <br /> <br />developed at the time for each individual item of <br /> <br />work authorized. <br /> <br />(c) Attend a conference with representatives of the <br /> <br />OWNER to present and discuss the details of the <br /> <br />proposed improvements. <br /> <br />(d) Furnish the OWNER sufficient information to begin <br />land and right-of-way acquisition for the PROJECT <br />as provided in Articles 3.2.3 and 3.3.6. <br />(e) Upon completion of the review conference, the <br />ENGINEER wi 11 make approved modifications and <br /> <br />-5- <br />
