ANNEXATION STUDY
Portion of Site F
Page ~2

PUBLIC SAFETY

Police

No impact will be felt from annexation of this site as the area is
undeveloped. It is easily reached via IH-35 North.

Fire

The area is three (J) miles from responding fire companies resulting
in a five-minute (~,5l response time. The nearest water adequate for
fire use is on Uhland Road at the frontage road to IH-35 North.

TOPOGRAPHY

The actual land elevation varies from 602 msl to 566 msl. The main
flow velocity is 7.4 feet per second at the floodway. Base flood
elevations vary from 602 msl to 607 msl.

HEALTH

Soil conditions are acceptable for septic systems.

STREETS

There are no streets within the proposed area.

SANITATION

No impact would be felt by annexation of this site.

WATER/WASTEWATER

W~ter

A portion of ths tract is located within the city limits and is
serviced by a two-inch (2"} water main. However, this is not
adequate for any major development on this tract. Major development
would require extensions of water mains at the developer's expense
or possibly boring under IH~35. A possible loop and storage facility
would be required if extensive development were to occur through the
general area resulting in capital improvement allocations. See
Attachment "C".

Wastewater

There are no wastewater facilities within the immediate area. See
Attachment "D".

COMMUNITY SERVICES

Annexation of this site would have no impact on this dapartment.
