RFA 210 -006
6. Discuss settlement and corporate liability terms. Include information on the
applicant's support for the program, the applicant's experience, settlement terms
on payment, security procedures, license requirements, and how billing is
received.
Each WellsOne Commercial Card carries a liability waiver — up to $100,000 —that protects your
company from employee misuse or unauthorized charges.
Support
In addition to a dedicated Account Manager, who is tasked with helping the City achieve
process improvement and enhanced control with our program, Wells Fargo offers you
unlimited access to our web - enabled Commercial Card Expense Reporting software,
giving you real -time control over all program aspects.
You also receive toll -free access to our Business Purchasing Service Centers in San
Francisco and Salt Lake City, dedicated exclusively to WellsOne Commercial Card
clients and their cardholders 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The BPSC services our
customers' day -to -day operations with the following roles and responsibilities:
• Customer Service Officers (CSO): Process new card and maintenance
requests. Respond to general customer inquiries.
• Implementation Associates (IA): Set up and implement new programs.
Provide ongoing support for applications, reports, and balancing statements.
Answer technical questions about functionality.
• Billing Specialists: Generate statements, balance core systems, process
general ledger online; research and make adjustments; process payments
and practice accounting.
• Dispute Resolution and Fraud Management Specialists: Monitor card
transactions using sophisticated fraud detection software. Identify
suspicious transactions for review and notify customers' program
administrators when appropriate. Assist Billing Specialists to research and
process adjustments of disputed transactions.
7. Does the applicant offer payment options?
The Commercial Card is paid in full every month, generally 5 -10 days after billing cycle is
complete. This is accomplished by automatic payment from the City's checking account and a
statement is provided in advance. Although a monthly billing cycle is most popular, weekly or
biweekly settlement can also be accomplished.
8. Discuss the training programs provided.
The amount of training The City's staff requires will vary based on your employee's role in your
expense management process. Most cardholders already use credit cards and quickly learn
aspects important to commercial card programs. To reduce cycle times and improve The City's
visibility to spending data, your managers and approvers need to understand how to facilitate
quick statement reconciliation with the WellsOne Commercial Card program. Finally, the
program is designed so that your Program Administrator(s) can become virtually self- sufficient to
operate and maintain it, with the support of your Wells Fargo Account Manager.
