106 <br /> <br />Special Meeting <br /> <br />July 6, 1981 <br /> <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />AYE: Brown, Cavazos, Kreczmer, Mendez and Norris. <br /> <br />NAY: James <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None. <br /> <br />The motion passed. <br /> <br />Mr. James then moved to amend Proposition No. 3 to name the streets <br />totaling $240,000: Coers Street ($80,000); Gravel (Purgatory) ($94,000); <br />Sycamore ($26,000) and Ed J. L. Green ($38,000); and Mr. Cavazos second- <br />ed the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. James moved that the following propositions appear on the bond <br />program: Proposition No. 1 - Millview Addition ($1,500,000); <br /> Proposition No. 2 - Barbara Addition ($500,000); <br /> Proposition No. 3 - Coers Street, Gravel (Purgatory); <br /> Sycamore and Ed J. L. Green ($240,000); <br /> Proposition No. 4 - Flood Damaged Streets ($365,000); <br /> Proposition No. 5 - Landfill ($200,000); <br /> Proposition No. 6 - Waterworks and Sewer System Improvements <br /> ($2,945,000); <br /> Proposition No. 7 - Parks ($150,000); and <br /> Proposition No. 8 - Cemetery ($100,000). <br /> <br />Mr. Brown seconded the motion. <br />recorded: <br /> <br />On roll call the following vote was <br /> <br />AYE: Brown, James and Kreczmer. <br /> <br />NAY: Cavazos, Mendez and Norris. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None. <br /> <br />The motion failed. <br /> <br />Mr. James then moved for.Proposition No. 5 - Landfill ($200,000) be <br />placed on the bond program and Mrs. Norris seconded the motion. On <br />roll call the following Vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Brown, James, Kreczmer, Mendez and Norris. <br /> <br />NAY: Cavazos. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None. <br /> <br />The motion passed. <br /> <br />Mr. James then moved for Proposition No. 6 - Waterworks and Sewer <br />System Improvements for Fairlawn, Midway and Springlake Wells, EPA, <br />Storage Facilities, Meter Replacements and Main Replacements <br />($2,945,000) be placed on the bond program and Mr. Brown seconded <br />the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Brown, James, Kreczmer, Mendez and Norris. <br /> <br />NAY: Cavazos. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None. <br /> <br />The motion passed. <br /> <br />Mr. B~mwn moved for ~Proposition No. 7 - Parks ($150,000) be placed <br />on the. bond program and Mr. James seconded the motion.
