1.6 ADDITIONAL SERVICES /CHANGE IN SERVICES <br />1.6.1 Since the Consultant's compensation is a fixed fee for Basic Services, including minor <br />deviations from those described in this Agreement, compensation to the Consultant for <br />Additional Services will only be for substantial deviations from the scope of services described <br />in this Agreement. The Consultant will submit a written estimate of fees to the City and obtain <br />the City's authorization before initiating any additional services. The following services, if <br />requested of the Consultant by the City, are specifically considered additional services: <br />a) Fundraising Brochures and Presentation Models; <br />b) Detailed Way - finding and Signage Package Development; <br />c) Detailed Parking and Operations Analysis Study; <br />d) Detailed Utilities and Infrastructure Plans; <br />e) Detailed Design Standards and Equipment and Furnishing Selection; <br />f) Due Diligence or Site Acquisition Services; <br />g) Physical Site or Properties Surveys; <br />h) Soils Borings and Reports; and <br />i) Additional Fiscal Impact Studies. <br />1.6.2 Each material change (deletion or addition) in the services to be provided by the <br />Consultant must be authorized by the City on the Authorization of Change in Services form <br />attached to this Agreement as Attachment A. Compensation for additional services will be in <br />addition to that specified for Basic Services in accordance with Section 13.2 of this Agreement. <br />The approval of the San Marcos City Council is necessary for all additional services, the <br />compensation for which exceeds $50,000.00. <br />ARTICLE 2 <br />THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br />The City will: <br />2.1 Provide full information to the Consultant regarding the City's requirements for the <br />Consultant's services under this Agreement. The City will furnish the Consultant with copies of <br />data and information in the City's possession needed by the Consultant at the Consultant's <br />request. For the facilities identified in Section 1.0 of this Agreement, this information may <br />include: <br />a) A site survey showing property lines, building footprints, paving, walkways, <br />vegetation, topography, and above and below grade utilities in AutoCAD or <br />compatible format; <br />b) All basic data on City -owned properties (i.e. — age, size, construction, floor plans, <br />etc.); <br />c) As built drawings of the facilities identified in Section 1.0 as available; <br />d) Facility inventory information as available; <br />Facility Needs Assessment Agreement Final <br />R <br />
