Council also provided staff with supplemental budget requests concerning: 1) a Neighborhood Liaison for the ACT program; 2) better audio equipment; and 3) funding a curator position. Staff will come back with more information to determine when these requests could be implemented. Staff was also asked to discern how HOT funds could assist in the Downtown Master Plan. Mayor Narvaiz opened the Public Hearing at 10:42 p.m. to receive comments for and against a tax increase. Reconsideration of Ordinance 2008-26, amending the official zoning map of the city by rezoning parts of Lots 3 and 4, Original Town of San Marcos from "CC" Community Commercial District to "CBA" Central Business Area; located at 214 San Antonio Street. There was no reconsideration of Ordinance 2008-26. 21. Reconsideration of Ordinance 2008-28, amending the future land use map from Low Density Residential to Public for a 16.19 acre, more or less, tract of land located at 1664 Centerpoint Road; amending the official zoning map of the city by rezoning this tract from "UZ" Unzoned to "P" Public and Institutional District.
