modify details as necessary to meet project-specific requirements, and include modifications in <br />the plan drawings. <br />1.2.7 Prepare construction drawings to include: <br />a) Full-size plans on standard D size (22 by 34-inch); <br />b) Site Plan drawings at 1 inch = 20 feet horizontal and 1 inch = 2 feet <br />vertical along the pipeline route; <br />c) Plan view drawings showing the location of improvements and other pertinent data, <br />along with existing structures, trees, utilities, property lines, tax lot identification <br />numbers, and easements; <br />d) Topographic contours; <br />e) Assessor map level of property lines and land owners; <br />f) Key existing easement lines; <br />g) City boundaries; <br />h) Names of existing roads, creeks, and other relevant features; <br />i) Other important features of the Project such as survey control points; <br />j) Pipeline horizontal and vertical alignment criteria; <br />k) Pipe materials; <br />1) Earthwork: Pipe bedding, zone, and backfill requirements; minimum depths; disposal <br />of excess trench materials; finished grading, drainage, and re-vegetation <br />requirements; <br />m) Location, spacing, and sizing criteria for pipeline appurtenances; and <br />n) Construction access roads and staging areas requirements. <br />1.2.8 Prepare standard details based on the City's established standard details. If the City's <br />standard details are not available, the Engineer will propose using its standard details; however, <br />the Engineer's standard details will not be used without prior approval from the City. Standard <br />details will include: <br />a) Pipe; <br />b) Trench Section (bedding and backfill types); <br />c) In-line Valves (schematic typical only); <br />d) Stabilized Construction Entrance; and <br />e) Miscellaneous Details (survey monuments, rock berm, silt fence, etc.). <br />1.2.9 Conduct meetings with the City and other interested parties at the intervals listed below <br />or as needed to review and update the City on the progress of the Project: <br />a) Final Design Phase kick-off, <br />b) Construction drawing review at 50%; and <br />c) Construction drawing review at 90% <br />The City and the Engineer assume that final design will last three months from the date of <br />completion of preliminary design and that there will be no more than three meetings included in <br />bwr7 :;arteae : Oakrdige Booster Pump Project <br />4
