Consultant and with notice to the Contractor. 1.7 ADDITIONNA.L SERVICESICIIANGE IN SERVICES 1.7.1 Since the Consultant's compensation is a fixed fee for Basic Services, including minor deviations from those described in this Agreement, compensation to the Consultant for Additional Services will only be for substantial deviations from the scope of services described in this Agreement. The Consultant will submit a written estimate of fees to the City and obtain the City's authorization before initiating any additional services. The following are specifically considered to be additional services: a) Construction phase surveying; b) A water Pollution Abatement Plan (INTAT) if required; c) Preparation of a floodplain study or research to determine if one is necessary or has been performed, or detailed drainage studies to analyze conveyance of off-site runoff involving HEC-1, HEC- -2 or other similar hydrologic or hydraulic analyses including survey cross sections, field notes and easements. d) CLOMR or LOMR preparation or communication with F.E.M.A. e) Environmental assessments, wetlands, endangered species, and KARST feature investigations. f) Archeological studies. Since the proposed fields are designed on existing ball fields and since possible floodplain encroachment will prevent the fields from being lowered from their existing elevation, no archeological studies are anticipated or included in this Agreement. g) Design of detention and water quality facilities. h) It is anticipated that the Project will be bid as a single bid contract but may include bid alternates as determined by the City. Preparing documents for separate or sequential bids and providing out -of sequence services requested by the Owner are specifically not included under this Agreement. i) Providing services for furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) and professional Interior Design Services. 1.7.2 Each material change (deletion or addition) in the services to be provided by the Consultant must be authorized by the City on the Authorization of Change in Services form attached to this Agreement as Attachment A. Compensation for additional services will be in addition to that specified for Basic Services in accordance with Article 15 of this Agreement. The approval of the San Marcos City Council is necessary for all additional services the compensation for which exceeds $50,000.00.
