8. Denise Jenkins, 2304 W. McCarty Lane, San Marcos, Texas 78666, spoke in opposition <br />to the project and the irresponsible growth. <br />9. Zyg Maksymowicz, 3101 Oak Ledge, San Marcos, Texas 78666, spoke regarding <br />concerns with traffic issues. <br />10. Larry Patterson, 1400 Sunset Ridge in McCarty Ranch, San Marcos, Texas 78666, spoke <br />in opposition to the project and the traffic issues. <br />11. Robbie Wiley, 407 Oakwood Loop in San Marcos, Texas 78666, spoke in support of the <br />project. <br />12. Pam Kimble 100 Grant Court, San Marcos, Texas 78666, spoke in support of the project. <br />There being no further comments, the Public Hearing was closed at 6:45 p.m. <br />5. Hold public hearing to receive comments for or against amending the future land use <br />map from "HDR" High Density Residential, "I" Industrial to "C" Commercial for 60.3 <br />acres, more or less, tract of land located out of the Edward Burleson Survey No. 18, <br />Abstract No. 63, located at the southeast corner of Hunter Road and Centerpoint Road. <br />At approximately 6:46 p.m. Mayor Narvaiz opened the Public Hearing. <br />There being comments, the Public Hearing was closed at 6:47 p.m. <br />6. Hold a public hearing to receive comments for or against amending the official zoning <br />map from "FD" Future Development and unzoned to "PDD" (Planned Development <br />District) with an underlying base zoning of "MU" Mixed Use and "GC" General <br />Commercial for 1338.5 acres, more or less, tract of land located out of the John Williams <br />Survey, Abstract No. 471, The Edward Burleson Survey No. 18, Abstract No. 63, The <br />Nathaniel Hubbard Survey No. 35, Abstract No. 230 and the Isaac Lowe Survey, Abstract <br />No. 287, located at: Area 1- located at the terminus of Centerpoint Road and Hunter Road <br />and Area 2- located at southeast corner of Hunter Road and Centerpoint Road. <br />At approximately 6:48 p.m. Mayor Narvaiz opened the Public Hearing. <br />There being comments, the Public Hearing was closed at 6:49 p.m. <br />7. Hold a public hearing to receive comments for or against amending the official zonin <br />map from "FD" Future Development/ Unzoned to a base zoning category with a PDD <br />overlay zoning classification of "MU" Mixed Use for 1278.290 acres out of the John <br />Williams Survey Abstract No. 471, the Edward Burleson Survey No. 18, Abstract No. 63, <br />the Nathaniel Hubbard Survey No. 35, Abstract No. 230 and the Issac Lowe Survey <br />Abstract No. 287, located at the terminus of Centerpoint Road and Hunter Road. <br />At approximately 6:50 p.m. Mayor Narvaiz opened the Public Hearing. <br />
