Hold a public hearing to receive comments for or against amending the official zoning <br />map from "FD"/ unzoned to a base zoning category with a PDD overlay zoning <br />classification of "GC" General Commercial for 60.3 acres more or less, tract of land <br />located out of the Edward Burleson Survey No. 18, Abstract No. 63, located at the <br />southeast corner of Hunter Road and Centerpoint Road. <br />At approximately 6:56 p.m. Mayor Narvaiz opened the Public Hearing. <br />1. Ken Jenkins inquired to polling City Council of their vote on the Paso Robles Project. <br />Mayor Narvaiz stated tonight the City Council did not vote on any projects, this meeting <br />was for Public Hearings. <br />2. Ken Jenkins inquired to the next meeting when the City Council will vote on this project. <br />Mayor Narvaiz stated the annexation first reading is scheduled for September 21, 2010. <br />3. Blaine Eiben inquired an amended to PDD for Paso Robles Project. Laurie Moyer stated <br />staff is still taking input from the public and once that is completed, then the City Council <br />will be provided an updated PDD. <br />4. Steve Harvey inquired to the documents from Shaun Cranston and if they would be <br />placed on the website. Laurie Moyer stated staff will provide the documents on the City <br />website. <br />5. Shannon Brotherton inquired to the City Council's plan for keeping this project <br />environmental friendly. Mayor Narvaiz stated at this point the City Council and Staff are <br />documenting all the concerns and go through the process. She stated once the City <br />Council receives the documents all the environment protections will be outlined. <br />6. Shannon Brotherton inquired to the certification of the project. Mayor Narvaiz stated we <br />will know more about the certification process once the City Council received the <br />documents. <br />7. Zyg Maksymowicz inquired to allowing the citizens 7 days to look at all the documents <br />and then receive a private briefing of the PDD and PDA. Laurie Moyer stated the agenda <br />packets are on the City website 7 days before the City Council Meetings, but sometimes <br />documents are not finalized until the meeting. <br />8. Denise Jenkins inquired to the proposed road in the Paso Robles Project. Mayor Narvaiz <br />stated there several issues still being finalized and the information for the project will be <br />provided on the City website 7 days before the City Council will vote of the project. <br />
