t <br />witness these monuments using a standard ROW sign and metal marker post <br />(materials to be provided by TxDOT). <br />1.4.2 Utilitv Coordination <br />1) Identify the following utilities based on utilizing Texas One -Call within the Project <br />limits for: <br />a) City of San Marcos Electric Utility; <br />b) AT &T; <br />c) AT &T Distribution & Cable; <br />d) Time Warner Communications (Cable); <br />e) CenturyLink Telephone; <br />f) Grande Communications; <br />g) MCI; <br />h) City Storm Sewer, Water & Wastewater; <br />i) Sprint/Nextel; and <br />j) Level 3 Communications. <br />2) Perform utility coordination and liaison activities, which involve the above utility <br />owners, their consultants, and TxDOT, the State, including timely Project <br />notifications, formal coordination meetings, conflict analysis and resolution. In <br />addition, the Engineer will resolve utility conflicts as mutually agreed, help establish, <br />coordinate, and update design and sequence of utility work schedules, and track the <br />schedule of agreement assemblies. <br />3) Coordinate activities with TxDOT, or its designee, to facilitate the orderly progress <br />and timely completion of the design phase. <br />4) Coordinate a work plan including a list of the proposed meetings and coordination <br />activities, and related tasks to be performed, a schedule and an estimate. The work <br />plan will satisfy the requirements of the Project and the Engineer will receive TxDOT <br />approval prior to commencing work. <br />1.4.3 Initial (Kick -Off) Proiect Meeting. Attend an initial meeting and an on -site visit <br />appropriate for familiarity with existing conditions, Project requirements and prepare a written <br />report of the meeting. <br />1.4.4 Coordination of Utilitv Data. Identify Existing Utilities and coordinate existing utility <br />information using available data sources, including: <br />1) Texas One Call System; <br />2) Site visit; <br />3) Survey information received from TxDOT, Austin District; <br />4) Preliminary Design Meeting; <br />5) Utility block maps; <br />6) Record drawings; <br />7) As -built drawings; and <br />8) Any other information provided by utility companies. <br />HDR — Loop 82 Project Agreement <br />12 <br />
